Hook, line and stinker project

I have join this project to work on textures on 3D models but at the moment I have been put on props.
I have been design and home made knife for the animation.

It is still not what the makers of this animation want so i am still working on the knife.

Patsy project

Hello there,

I have been working on a project called Pasty. A task I was given was to colour in a our peoples character designs.

Second task I was given was to work on dog designs.

Work for plant and power.

Hello there,

After my project didn't go through I had to join other groups. The first one was plant and power, this project is about land steeling.

This was a test i was given to see if water paint can be copied in Photoshop. As you can see it can be done.

Second test I was given was the same as the last one but see if it can be animated in Flash. This is one of the frames I did for the animation.

Starting scene test. - fury project

Hello there,

For this test I used Phoebe's background she designed for the project and animated a bird on top. The research I did was looking at youtube video on crows but then I came up on a idea of watching my druid on world of warcraft fly so then i can see it from all angles.

The tests were done in flash.
Here is the tests.

This test was just using lines to see the movement.

Test only the bird in its full form.

Finished test with added snow in after effects.

When doing some tests I came a cross some problems.

As you can see it was going well.

FADE IN:

1.  NORWAY BACKGROUND – PANNING.

CROW.

First shot landscape of Norway.

CROW. Flies in the shot from the right. Camera follows crow through the landscapes.

SOUND of a battle getting closer and closer.

CUT TO:

2.  NORWAY BACKGROUND – MIDDLE SHOT

CROW. Shot from the left side. SLOW ZOOM to the crow face going to the eye.

3.  THE KIDNAPPING

FADE TO:

ODIN. (KING OF THE GODS)

MID SHOT: Shouting and pointing. Telling the gods to get the monstrous children of LOKI (THE TRICKSTER GOD).

SHOT TO:

FENRIR ( A WOLF CUB),HEL ( A DARK-HAIRED YOUNG GIRL) AND JORMUNGANDR (A SNAKE) .

WIDE SHOT: The young children being taken away from their mother from the other gods.

CLOSE UP: Odin smacking Angrboda (The mother of Loki’s children) hitting her to the ground.

SHOT TO:

CLOSE UP

ODIN. Holding Jormungandr who is as small as a normal snake that he can hold in his hand. ODIN throws him over the edge into the deep sea.

SHOT TO:

JORMUNGANDR.

PAN DOWN: falling throw through the sky then hitting the water. 

SHOT TO:

ODIN. Grabs Hel by the arm. Pulls her over to a soldier on a horse and puts her on the back on the horse.

HORSE RIDES OFF.

FADE TO BLACK:

SHOT: of Hel standing in a dark room with blue dead souls walking past her to where need to rest.

SHOT: Hel standing in a dark room. With the undead walking past her in a line.

FADE TO BLACK:

FENRIR.

MID SHOT: Esir (Odin’s soldiers) grabs Fenrir put a rope around his neck and take him home. Throwing him in a cage.

FADE TO: close up – Fenrir face cold and dark in the cage. (Looking sad)

CUT TO: Angrboda’s house on fire. With a shadow on the on the floor in front of the house.

CUT TO:

4.  CROW FLYING

CROW.

MIDDLE SHOT: back to the crow flying to the sky’s of Norway. (Side of the crow).

ZOOM: back into the eye.

5.  GROWN UP

FADE TO BLACK:

FENRIR.

WIDE SHOT: Screaming tied up with a red rope. Struggling to get out.

CLOSE UP: to Fenrir’s face, Struggling to get the rope off his face.

WIDE SHOT: A man walks up to Fenrir as Fenrir falls to the floor, with the look of pain and angry.

WIDE SHOT: Fenrir open up his month and rips off the mans arm. (blood and skin ripping from flesh). Fenrir gets back up, bites the ropes by him feet and the rope finely breaks.

WIDE SHOT: Fenrir jumps up and hill and runs.

FADE TO BLACK:

HEL.

CLOSE UP: Of Hel’s face with her eyes closed. Eyes open fast with a cold look from Hel.

ZOOM OUT: from Hel’s face zooms out with her in her throne to a view of all her hall. (Full of undead).

FADE TO BLACK:

JORMUNGANDR.

WIDE SHOT: The sea with the sun hitting the sea water. A killer whale comes up to the surface for air and goes back under. Jormungandr comes from under the whale and bursts out of the water with the whale in his mouth.

PAUSE: with the whale in his mouth moving to get out. Jormungandr bites to finish the whale off. Jormungandr dives back into the water.

FADE TO BLACK:

6.  CROW FLYING.

WIDE SHOT: Crow flying through Norway’s mountains.

PAN UP 15c WIDE SHOT: Still Crow flying. Flies over a field with 2 armies that are ready to fight.

PAN: pans up till above the crow.

CLOSE UP: feet of the soldiers running in to fight.

7.  FIGHT

CUT TO:

WIDE SHOT: Hel on her horse running in to the battle with fenrir on side. Hel shoots her bow in to army coming in front of her.

CUT TO:

CLOSE UP: ODIN soldier getting hit by an arrow. Blood squirting out of the wound in his chest. Falls down.

CUT TO:

ODIN:

MID SHOT: Odin on his horse smashing undead with his sword. On after a other till Fenrir comes from the right side and pushing Odin from his horse falling him on the floor.

MID SHOT: Odin on the floor getting back up. Fenrir circling him looking for the right time to attack. (Camera forwarding Fenrir going round him).

MID SHOT: Fenrir looking right forward. (Looking right in to the camera). Fenrir jumps forward. (At the camera). Looking like he’s going to bite.

CUT TO:

WIDE SHOT: undead and the Odin’s fighting. (6 soldiers) A human soldier stabs the undead soldier in the chest is does nothing and get stuck. The undead soldier kills the human by hacking his sword in his neck. 3 times. Blood flying in to the air and going all over the undead soldier.

The undead looks up. He starts getting attacked by a hawk. Hawk flying round his head pecking at him. Undead swings in the air JUST missing the hawk.

The Hawk tramforms in to Fraya (pretty fertility goddess and ally of Odin) with her spire in her hand, ready to fight. (Feathers around her going in the wind) She smacks the undead head off with one clean cut. Smoke leave the undead body then he falls on his knees. (Blue smoke like his soul is leaving the body).

CUT TO:

Hel walks through the near by village under attack by Odin and her own soldiers. Dead villages on the floor. Screaming coming from everywhere.

CUT TO:

MID SHOT: Jormungandr lying halfway on the coast.

Jormungandr comes out with a scream. With that green smoke comes out his mouth poisoning the sky making it green.

Then he spits all the smoke over Thor (Thunder god, ally of Odin)on the boat coming closer to him.

When the smoke hits Thor he shots of a spire from the boat.

CLOSE UP: Spear goes through Jormungandr head.

Pause: (Spear through head of Jormungandr). BLOOD SPRAYING

CLOSE UP: Thor coughing (his face goes boney as the life is going). Eyes round up. Thor falls out of shot dead.

CUT TO:

WIDE SHOT: fenrir still fighting with Odin. Odin looks like he’s slowing down. Getting tired. Fenrir circling.

Odin brings his spire up high to attack. Quick Fenrir jumps in and attack Odin by biting his throat. Blood spraying into the sky.

Fenrir gets go and Odin. Odin knees on the floor in pain. Fenrir run off in to the echo of soldiers fighting.

CUT TO:

WIDE SHOT: Hel looking around at what’s she’s done.

WIDE SHOT: Corpse all over the field with only a couple soldiers still fighting.

SHOT OF HER HANDS COVERED IN BLOOD.

(KIDS SCREAMING)

WIDE SHOT: Hel shocked looks behind her.

WIDE SHOT: Viking house on fire. Kids crying coming from the house.

Hel runs in to the house.

CUT TO:

MID SHOT: Hel looking around in the burning house.

WIDE SHOT: Hel looking under a table where the kids (2) are hiding. She grabs they hands and pulls them up.

CUT TO:

MID SHOT: Freyja looking behind her.

CUT TO:

WIDE SHOT: Hel coming out of the burning house.

CUT TO:

Freyja walks over to Hel.

CLOSE UP: on the kids holding something in the hands. They both are holding a thor’s hammer necklace.

WIDE SHOT: Hel leads the kids away from the house, through the carnage outside.

CLOSE UP: Hel whistles

WIDE SHOT: Hel’s three legged horse stumbles through the wreckage towards them. She picks up the kids, and puts them gently obn his back.

CLOSE UP: Hel turns back towards the village and beckons with her hand.

CLOSE UP: A dead villagers hand, twitches suddenly

WIDE SHOT: Gates of the village seen from the outside. Hel walks proudly out through the gates, followed by the horse, Fenrir, Freyja. Behind them come a line of villagers returned to life.

FADE TO BLACK.

Hel's Horse - Fury project

Hello there,

As in my story I have Hel going in to battle on a horse. Just like Odin will be.

I did some research and in other tales about Hel one was in Ireland. She would go over the land with a 3 legged horse. And here he is....

Here are my head designs. As it's a undead horse I wanted him just not to look like a bone looking horse. So i did a couple design to test muscle and bone out.

As Odin's horse is going to have armour as he is the leader of the Odin. I thought Hel's horse should too. So here to some armour test I did before i picked the one i wanted.

Fenrir - Fury project

Hello there,

Fenrir is the 3rd child of Loki.

Fenrir was taken to the home of the gods and put in a cage. until he gets to big and then Odin wanted in tied up so he can't get out. The gods said to Fenrir they wanted to test him. On the 3rd rope they tried on him he could not get out. ( this one being made by the dwarf and unbreakable).

Jormungandr - Fury project

Hello there,

Here are the designs I did for Jormungandr. (The world serpent). As I am a big fan on monster, Jormungandr was really fun to design.

Jormungandr was thrown in the sea when he was young by Odin.

Hel - Fury project

Hello there,

Hel is one of the children of Loki a norse god. Not a every liked god as that. Because of his misdeeds, his children pay for it. My short Animation is about they're pay back to the gods. The first character I will be showing you is Hel.

Hel is the ruler of the underworld. A place of the same name.

In my story Hel is going against the god for pay back for what they have done to her and her brothers. But in this story Odin and Thor are see as the bad guys for dragging young children away from the mother.

LOOKS: Hel is half undead with long black hair. Not like most Vikings. Hel is boney and tall.

Those or some of my Hel designs. I was going through how I want her to look and what style I wanted.

In the end I went for a Batman animation looking style. She hides her undead looking eye under her long black her.

All of Loki's children are going to have green eye's just like her mum.
