Hello there,

This is a 2D task. For this task we had to make our box character hear a sound and see what happens.

For my character being scared from a sound and running off. Think I might of done it a bit to quick.

3D bouncing ball

Jumping box

Hello there,

I think I did so much wrong with this short video I did.
for this task me had to make a box jump. I failed at doing this I didn't have the camera in the right place and I did to many frames and for some reason my box since to get smaller.

Week 2

Hello there,

As you would of read from my little rant, Wednesday the 13th wasn't really great. Maya wasn't working on any of the computer in the animation studio so 3 hours of nothing. After tried doing my work at my flat but it was a no go because my internet wasn't working.

On 14 Thursday I had 2D we looked at everyone's football/bowling ball task videos to see what we can do better at what we did. Got shown about movement to go with the new task we have to do before Tuesday. After we had the support class stayed and did some work until I go. At 13.30 we had history we watched a over the top cartoon then we talked about ideology and also looked through the reading task we did. After history we had a screening of a film called Coonkin. I thought the film was ok but to be honest I didn't like it myself I couldn't get into it.

On 15 Friday was had motion studies. We draw a very loving lady in 30 sec, 1 minutes and 10-15 minutes movement. Later on after that we had design of animation we got more into storyboarding even had to go in groups and had to make a storyboard. Everyone had to ex plane they're storyboard to the class. Everyone's was different in little ways.  After the class it was back to flat time and I started on my 2D project, just need to put it together using the camera.

On the Saturday there was a animation get together and it was a night to remember. ^^

Bad day

Had a bit of a bad day yesterday first maya wasn't working so wasn't able to do work, then I thought it might be a good idea to print out some work off the library computers as there the only ones we can use. everyone of them computers was full so when back to my Flat thought I would do some work on my laptop did that for a bit 2 friends came round to do they're work for history. When they left my internet cut out so I started  drawing and I put a film on.

By mistake I fell asleep for 2 hours, woke up internet still wasn't working. After 30mins it started working started loading my patch for WoW because I can only load the patch after 6 because then I can play WoW. I tried to finish reading text we need to do history after a hour the internet went again... The rage, around 9 my dear friend came over to get me a hand with my reading work. After she went I tried again still no go. I stayed up until 1 am staying to get it to work...

Falling Bowling ball and Football.

Hello there,

This is a task I was giving in 2D. I wasn't there for the first class so I hope I did it right.

I made these Animations by looking up drawings of balls falling but for the bowling ball all I had to do is remember that the bowling ball is heavy so then it hits the ground it wont bounce high as a normal ball.

when I had it all on paper I went down to class and got it all captured on the rostrum camera then I was finished.

Here you go...

This is the Football failing but it's more like a bouncing ball then a football.

Some old drawings

Hello there,

I found some drawing from 2007-2008 on my computer and I thought that I would show you what I used to draw in my free time when I was doing my First Diploma course in Plymouth art college.

 

This is a little Anime drawing a did when i used to be really in to Anime but I am trying to move away from it now. 

 Here is the drawing in colour I did this by using Photoshop i was doing this as I was testing how I was going to colour in my final piece at the end of the year.

As I am a bit of a horror film nut I thought that I would make my charterer I had made into a zombie.

I never finished colouring this as you can see. I draw this to start with as I wanted a tattoo but in the end I didn't want one no more. 

This is my final piece I did for the year it was about time and memory. I thought of with the Photos through my Life and time with the grim reaper because everything comes to a end. 

I do have a lot more drawings on my computer but that would be to much to show. I hope you like what you have seen and thank you for reading.

Week 1

Hello there,

I started my course fully on the 6 October I had a 3D practice. This lesson is mostly about using Maya the 3D animation program and maybe many more programs in the further. In the lesson on Wednesday because it was the first lesson and to get us little by little in Maya we learnt about the short cuts that we need to know to work quickly when using Maya. Also got told how to save your projects in the right order so it wont get last. When my class finished I played around on Maya a bit to see how it works and all I could think of was god I got my work cut out for me... after that I went back to my Flat and had something quickly to eat then went into town for a little walk with a friend then when back and played some WoW.

On the 7 October I had 2D but I had to miss it as I had a Dyslexia Test for 3 hours but I might it might of been more then that. Because I missed the 2D class there was coursework we have to do by next week well just to say I think I know what am doing from what I have been told by class mates. When I was done I went to my 3D support class worked for a bit then went back to my flat to get ready for History and Theory. The lesson was interesting now I know about signs, iconic and symbolic also got told about means and more in animations, near the end we watch some old cartoons Felix from 1922, Krazy Kat from 1916 and Little Nemo 1911 after we looked at some theory's. When I got back to the flat I started on my work I needed to do for 2D (I hope I did it right)

I think this is what we have to do with a football and a bowling ball but by frame by frame and animate it. we will see what mine looks like later on. 

On the 8 October I had Motion studies the tutor spoke a bit about her self then about the class that we are going to be doing also about the task we have to do for our sketchbook because this is a short class of a hour and a half we couldn't do much in the way of drawing so we draw a skeleton for the end of class. For Design for Animation we watch some animations are tutor had done learned about different tips of film sizes and what we need to know about storyboarding. When it was time to go some friends took me down to the station to get a train to Plymouth for the weekend.

My summer

Because I haven't started my course yet I thought I would write a bit about myself and my summer to be honest I didn't do much this summer just chilled out with friends and play some computer games. I don't know why but I didn't really draw much after my finish work I had to do after my t.v and Films course in Plymouth I didn't really want to draw after drawing a lot of pandas and all my frames I had to draw.

When I finish my course I am hoping to start a business from home but am going to try and see if I can get a job with Blizzard but I don't see that happening.

Went to couple cool party's over the summer one was one of my best mates birthday party it was a prom party but it had a twist was that the man had to wear the dresses and the woman had to wear the suit. It was a night remember.

Don't really know much to write no more. Here are some drawings I did when I moved into halls enjoy.
